Group Coaching
Business is not something that you are meant to do on your own – so at The van Diemen Project we’ve developed a number of programs to help support business owners and key leaders that is underpinned by being part of a community of people at the same stage, focused on creating a small business or community organisation of purpose and impact while also being sustainable for the long term. With our Startup Circles and our Growing Gathering groups, you’ll find your place, access support from the wider team and others in the same boat, and be stronger for the next steps in business and in community.
What’s Involved in our Group Coaching Offer?
The business coaching process delivered by The van Diemen Project involves regular group sessions where we work closely with you and other small business owners to navigate the challenges that go on with being a leader of a new business – knowing that many of the challenges that come up we all go through, supported with bringing in guest speakers and experts from across the business community to help. Adam, Sharon, and the team will also help you establish a rhythm of regular check-ins to review progress, adapt to changing circumstances, and refine your strategies.
Additionally, the small business coaching sessions are centered around providing guidance as you encounter daily operational challenges. Whether it’s adjusting to market changes, managing staff, dealing with financial uncertainties, or making critical decisions, our coaching will give you the tools to navigate these complexities with confidence and clarity. The collaborative environment allows you to learn from the experiences of others, gain new perspectives, and build a supportive network of peers who are on similar journeys.
Recognising that the different stages of business have different needs, we’ve created two packages;
- Starting Strong for new businesses which is designed as a three month program to go through some business fundamentals in each workshop, share about challenges and encourage about successes, and help to start a new business with confidence and community.
- Momentum for existing businesses, which helps to underpin the ongoing journey of business, with guest speakers and regular check-ins to see all of the businesses in the group overcome challenges and remain resilient.
To find out more about what each package includes and the length of each group, you can see more below.
How This Helps You & Your Business?
-
Community and Collaboration: Group coaching fosters a sense of community and collaboration. By working together with other small business owners and community organisation leaders, you can share experiences, exchange ideas, and support each other in achieving your goals. This collective approach enhances learning and growth, as you benefit from the diverse perspectives and insights of your peers.
-
Shared Learning: In a group setting, you have the opportunity to learn from the successes and challenges of others. This shared learning environment encourages open discussions and problem-solving, helping you gain new strategies and approaches that you might not have considered on your own.
-
Networking Opportunities: Group coaching sessions provide a platform for networking and building relationships with other small business owners and community organisation leaders. These connections can lead to valuable partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities for growth.
-
Accountability and Motivation: Being part of a group creates a sense of accountability and motivation. Regular check-ins and progress reviews with your peers help you stay on track and committed to your goals. The support and encouragement from the group can also boost your confidence and drive to succeed.
-
Cost-Effective: Group coaching is often more cost-effective than one-on-one coaching, making it accessible to a wider range of small businesses and community organisations. You can benefit from high-quality coaching and support at a fraction of the cost.
By joining one of our coaching groups led by The van Diemen Project, you’ll be empowered to lead with confidence, make informed decisions, and create sustainable strategies for long-term success. Connect with us to start building your leadership capacity today.
